2009 – ICOMB/MWC Congo National Church School Consultation

Mennonite Brethren and the two other national Mennonite churches in the Democratic Republic of Congo united in this education consultation on Mennonite-sponsored primary and secondary schools in Congo. The consultation was held in the capital city of Kinshasa in May, 2009. Both church leaders and educators representing each of the national churches were in attendance. ICOMB, in cooperation with the national church leaders in Congo, initiated this consultation and was joined by Mennonite World Conference in its implementation.
